Urologist Urologist We seek a BE/BC urologist to assume the practice of a physician whose services the community has valued for the last 25 years. He is leaving due to health problems. This west central Michigan community serves a population of 88,000. The new physician can build his/her own practice with a competitive hospital income guarantee, or he/she may practice as an employee of a multi-specialty health clinic. Either way, the potential is excellent. The office is in a medical office complex adjacent the hospital. There is also an opportunity to provide outreach services to a retirement community, 10 miles outside Big Rapids. General surgeons provide call coverage when the urologist is unavailable Modern divided highway systems provide quick, easy access to larger metropolitan areas: Distance to Grand Rapids: 50 miles Distance to Detroit: 200 miles Distance to Chicago: 225 miles Distance to Saginaw: 75 miles Distance to Lake Michigan: 50 miles Big Rapids enjoys generally mild temperatures throughout the year. The average annual temperature is 67 degrees and the average annual rainfall is 47 inches.
